Being part British made me wonder, why do we have a royal family?
According to wikepedia, the royal family is:The British Royal Family is the group of close relatives of the monarch of the United Kingdom.
I think....
The Royal Family are a family of people we are told are above us. We are meant to respect them, and treat them as though they are a credit to our coutry. Saying anything against them could potentially end up with you having a life in prison. However, what i fail to comprehend, is why the Royal family is above us? Purely because they have a blood line that decends from great conquerers...does that really make them better than us?
Yes, i respect the royal family. and i believe they do Great Britain proud. They're wonderful role models and representatitives of society. But why are they above us. Why are we inferior?

First Post
So...here i am at 04:48 on the 3rd of January.
Basically, my blog is about my views on the world.
I named it "If i were a butterfly" as i will we using that phrase at the end of each post. My blog is not intended to be funny, nor serious.
Almost- both?
Hopefully this will become a regular thing & people will actually read it.
But for now, its just me.
